How Vellum is organized
Your work lives in projects. Each project holds one or more PDF drawings. Opening a project launches the editor, where the canvas sits in the center, tools run along the top, and contextual panes dock to the sides.
Everything you draw is a vector entity — not a flattened image — so it stays crisp at any zoom, snaps precisely, and can be edited or exported long after you create it.
