Layers
Organize entities into layers and control draw order.
Layers group related markups and control which entity sits on top of another.
- Assign an entity to a layer in the Layer section of the Properties panel.
- Reorder entities from the Annotations pane to change what draws on top.

The layers a CAD-exported PDF carries (survey, existing, proposed…) are controlled from the Layers pane on the left rail. See PDF layers.
