Pan & zoom

Vellum keeps your view smooth at any magnification because the drawing is vector, not a fixed-resolution image.

Panning

• Hold Space and drag, or select the Pan tool, to move the view.
• Scroll to pan vertically; hold Shift while scrolling to pan horizontally.
• On a trackpad, use a two-finger drag.

Zooming

• Use the zoom + / − buttons in the status bar, or type a percentage directly into the zoom field.
• Pinch on a trackpad or touch screen to zoom toward the cursor.
• Select the Zoom region tool (Z) and drag a box to zoom to that area.
