Text tool

The Text tool (T) places editable text directly on the drawing.

   Place

   Press T and click where the text should start, or drag to define a text box width.

   Type

   Enter your text. Press Esc or click away to commit.

Control font, size, alignment, and color in Text properties. Text renders crisply at every zoom because it uses real font metrics.
