Text select
Select, copy, search, and highlight the PDF's own text.
Text select (Shift+H) works with the real text inside the PDF rather than drawing new markup.
- Drag across text to select it.
- Copy the selected text to your clipboard.
- Highlight the underlying text so the highlight tracks the words.
- Feed a selection into Search to find matches.
Note
This only works on vector PDFs that contain a real text layer. Scanned documents have no selectable text.
