Select tool

The Select tool (V) is the default tool for working with existing geometry. Use it whenever you're not actively drawing.

Selecting

• Click an entity to select it.
• Drag a box to select everything inside (a marquee).
• Hold Shift and click to add or remove from the selection.
• Click empty space to deselect.

Editing a selection

• Drag to move; use arrow keys to nudge. See Copy, paste & nudge.
• Drag handles to resize or reshape. See Selecting & transforming.
• Edit appearance in the Properties panel or the modal pill on mobile.
• Right-click the selection for more actions — see the right-click menu.
• Press O to offset the selection.
